A lil Philly escape with Emma, Big J, + Holden to Tobyhanna State Park. This was my first time camping S/O to these fab people for convincing me to go! I particularly enjoyed wearing bright orange hats so we wouldn’t be mistaken for deer. 10/10 would camp again :)
Took the fish tube down to San Juan with my homies Laura, Connor, Sebo, and Holden. Lots of avocado, lots of sand, lots of mojitos, and just a splash of improv.
On September 2nd, Holden turned 25. After he threw me the most outrageous birthday weekend for my birthday, I decided to treat him to a little Vermont getaway.

H + I decided to head to Sicily for some springtime relaxation after a really busy winter + fall. We had the incredible privilege of staying with Holden’s family in Palermo. BJ+Maria Theresa+Rosangela+Vivi-you were all incredible hosts!! Thank you for your hospitality and all the delicious food we stuffed into our faces until we couldn’t breathe.
About a month ago, Laura, Connor and I were out at a speakeasy in D.C. and decided we needed some nature in our life. We set the date for our weekend in the Catskills. This last weekend saw those plans through to fruition. I could not have asked for better companions for our cozy stay in Phoenicia. We ate like queens (shout out to Connor for the burgers and Annie’s for the cinnamon rolls) explained the concept of Groundhog’s Day to Connor, precisely measured our cocktails (tf is an ounce anyway), artfully crafted s’mores, had some animal encounters, and uncovered some interesting news about our airbnb host. This was a much needed break from our city lives, and can’t wait to do it all again next year. Love you guys! xoxo
My good pal Sebo visited all the way from sunny AZ! It was Sebo’s first time to Philly so Blanco and I took him to all our spots, the most important probably being Lorenzo’s. We also had a short but sweet visit from meme queens Josh + Laura. Josh, Sebo+ Laura- thank you all for visiting and always being down for everything including giant dogs, making candles, and moving a thrift store desk in the rain. Sebo- thank you for the amazing meals+drinks you made us, the business/life advice that I will eventually put to good use ( I swear!), and taking the 6 hour flight to us on your much coveted free time. I am so lucky to have you all in my life!!
I’ve visited Vermont twice before, but never in my favorite season. Autumn in Vermont is a game changer. This was the coziest weekend in recent memory: apple cider, carving pumpkins, Czech beer, lots of good dogs, warm blankets, fall colors, corn mazes, apple cider donuts, squash soup, football... I could go on. I miss it already. Thanks again VT
I happened to be working in Paris on one of the most momentous days for the country of France, the day of the World Cup Final. Following a 4-2 victory over Croatia, the streets of Paris quickly filled with fans, who rallied the whole night. The photos below were taken in the 9th arrondissement of Paris.
Sebo has only been a friend of mine for a year, but he quickly became one of my favorite homies. Very grateful for the Hood family for letting us stay at their lovely home. It was a weekend filled with Twisted Teas, boat stuff, the Dima special, psychiatry, and the BEST dogs in town. Missing everyone already (well mostly the dogs ;) ).
This summer has taken me all over the place. One of my favorite stops was cat-sitting in Southeast Washington, D.C. It was full of my favorite D.C. friends, exploring, photoing, wine and cheese with THE Laura Taylor, and of course, the calico cats. Though I've moved on from D.C., I'm thankful to have another city to claim as home.
Holden's family graciously invited us to once again come stay at their home in Burlington, Vermont. Vermont's mountains and lakes hold a special place in my heart; I always seem to find my way back here just when I need it the most. Thanks for the hospitality VT, see you soon.
Two Words: Go Birds.
It was two years since I moved out of my most favorite city, Prague. Holden and I decided to return. It was, as expected, magical.
Last night, we decided to procrastinate even MORE on our finals and celebrate Christmas!! I'm so thankful for all these lovely, smart, weirdo humans in my life and from our FamBamShalam to you-have a v Merry Christmas :)
Holden's friend Jeremy kindly let us stay at his home in the Poconos. The weekend was full of soft flannels, warm fires, and crisp autumn air. I am so thankful for this lil weekend with ya H.
